I need to get Caught up with Art... Creatively, I've been treading water lately, and I haven't Drawn a damn thing in Months.
The thing keeping me from drawing is, Mostly, the fact that I'm not good at it. Ah, if only I could really make things that look legitimately good, like many of the people on here seem inherently able to do.
I'm starting to think it has something to do with drawing on your computer, with a tablet or whateverthefuck. Everything seems elegantly Digitized, and drawing on paper comes off oddly textured and dirty.
I also need to write. I had a short story I had planned and intended to submit to a Magazine thing, but I kinda lost my grip of it. Also, there's that Novel whatchumacallit.
I have been thinking about possibilities, though. Subject Sixteen, for one, to complete the Trifecta of the Doomed.
(Side note - The Trifecta of the Doomed is the current known roster of my Favorite Character Type. Joseph Schrieber at the Top, Thomas 'Tom the Diver' Zane at the Left and Clay Kaczmarek, A.K.A. Subject Sixteen at the Right. They fill the same roll in Three different Games - Silent Hill 4, Alan Wake and the Assassin's Creed Series - a side character who, before the game opens, experiences the same trauma the player character goes through, and dies because of it (uncertain in the case of Zane), but still exists in some way to guide the protagonist through the gauntlet. Don't know why, but I love them. I both want to find one more, and don't want to, because if I do, it'll be the Square of the Doomed. And that's just not cool.
Another would be a Drawing of Commander Vaus, a Character from my 'Shows' who is one of the Two Axial Characters and is a inspired by another type of character, like the doomed. He is definitively Brutal, utterly driven and distinctly cool. He's rather difficult to get on page, but as said before, Brutal is the best word to describe him.
I always wanted to draw one of my other Characters, as well as something else I can't remember at the moment...
Any Advice?
